Helldorado began in 1929 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tombstone's founding, and as an attempt to keep the county seat here. This picture shows a mock stage coach robbery on Allen Street.
Look closely at the street and you can see that Allen Street was paved, not dirt, even back in 1929.
